Mind Power - Understanding the Amazing Law of Cosmic Mind Power

Our minds are amazing tools which can be used to attract to ourselves anything that we want in our lives. Have you ever wondered why we keep attracting similar realities again and again? The reason is because of our subconscious thought patterns. What I have written below is a simple explanation as to how these patterns are created and how we can change them.

For our understanding, our minds can be divided into two distinct parts. One is the conscious mind, and the other is the subconscious mind. The conscious is the 'thinking' part of our mind. It is the one which keeps chattering non-stop throughout our lives. Can you feel the thought of this very sentence in your head as you are reading it right now?

That is the one I'm talking about! It is the reasoning part of our mind. Judgment and choice all arise from here. We use it throughout our day to make decisions to move ahead in our lives. You also know that some choices are good, and some are bad.

Have you ever wondered what all these choices are based on? Well, they are based on our subconscious beliefs. And where do you think these beliefs come from? The continuous thinking of the conscious, establishes these beliefs in the deeper mind. The subconscious does not really tell us whether the thought is good for us or not. It can not argue. Psychologists and psychiatrists point out that with every single thought, subconscious impressions are made. And as soon as the impression has reached a certain depth, it puts it into effect immediately. And then our habits are created.

Once new positive impressions are made, you begin to change your behavior smoothly. Yes, there is very little effort involved. You just change. You will feel fantastic when this first happens. The possibilities are endless, they really are...Most people take some time to adjust to these new concepts, but that does not mean that even you should...

Mind Power - Create your Destiny - Mind Power

'AHAM BRAHMASMI' (Sanskrit phrase which means ' I am god myself )

This is the ultimate state of Hindu Philosophy, where self realisation makes everyone of us understand that, in fact, we are the embodiment of God.

Till such time that happens, we can try and use the power of GOD within ourselves, to create our own destiny, for the prosperity of everyone, including ourselves.

When I was very young, my dad used to say that ' A man destined to be hanged cannot be drowned'. Obviously to impress upon the fact that what is fated will happen and we have no choice. I used to wonder that when everything is fated and destined, what is the pleasure in life? And why anyone should take responsibility for good or bad deeds? Why should God select people for differential treatment? There are evidently no answers, unless we accept that we have the choice and power to create our own destiny.

Having concluded that part, I started wondering as to what is the limitations of our independence in decision making and plan our destiny? This is a really difficult question to answer, with our limited knowledge. But I am sure that WE HAVE THE POWER TO CREATE OUR FUTURE AND OUR DESTINY. I have been wondering as to how we could possibly achieve this !

There are books which deal with the power of MIND and the possibilities of tapping the unlimited potential of our subconscious mind to achieve goals in materialistic and philosophical goals. The methods are not very difficult to follow, if we BELIEVE them. Yes, I am now a strong believer that I can create my destiny for the future. Even Palmistry suggests that our minds and thoughts have strong impact that the lines in our hands can be changed. Anyway, for any logical conclusion, one should have knowledge. But for belief, there is no need for logic or knowledge. It is the simple of way to start.

Perhaps, in a crude way, the computers and God are similar in so many aspects. While God connects to everyone and empowers him, host server connects all computers and empowers them. Life may probably be equated to a software game, where the limitations are set in the software, we have the freedom to play the game to our expertise and WIN THE GAME OR GET DEFEATED. The software does not interfere with our freedom to play, though the limitations are set. Probably our life is also a software programme, with limitations set and the freedom to play to our choice. Depending upon the result, we move over to the next stage or continue to play the same stage again and again.

Coming back to realities, our present goals are very much into the materialistic world and our aims are to improve them to the extent possible. This, of course, does not spoil our ultimate aim which could come later when we become more matured in life.

With an auspicious start, let us move ahead and create our own destiny.

Mind Power - The True Key to Prosperity

To have a high probability of becoming prosperous, you have to start with one very important decision!

What are you offering to give, in return for achieving your goal?

One of your most important assets is your ability to creatively determine what you have to offer that other people will pay for.

This is the ultimate source of prosperity, unless you manage to win the lottery or inherit money, of course.

** Cultivate a "Beginner's Mind"

Your mind is infinitely more subtle and creative than you realize! And sometimes it pays to "sneak up on it" when trying to solve a problem.

What would this involve? Approaching a problem of question with a totally open and flexible "beginner's mind."

Suppose, for example, you are an expert in vertical take off and landing aircraft. And suppose you are looking for a new, creative approach to hovering.

Obviously you could drag out technical texts and the latest journals in your field and pour over them. That could be a good starting point. But suppose you instead chose to be a "beginner," and make the assumption that anything is possible regarding hovering.

I wonder what insight might come to you if you asked yourself how a mosquito approaches hovering -- or perhaps a speck of dust that seems to weightlessly float in the air current above your desk?

Is it lighter than the air? No? And yet it floats and hovers. Since you are a "beginner," can you assume your aircraft could do the same thing? Could it defy gravity?

Or pick one common assumption in your field - one "everyone" subscribes to like "you must have an ezine and subscriber list to be successful on the web."

What it they are all wrong? What if the truth is the exact opposite. Black is white, and white is black. What would this mean? How can you apply it? Do some "beginner's mind" brainstorming, and don't reject your "crazy" ideas. Reflect on them!

** Boost Your Mind Power

A great way to build mind power is to continually feed your mind new ideas and concepts. Get onto the cutting edge of your field of interest. In our rapidly exploding information age, knowledge is the key to success.

The interesting thing about building up your knowledge in your field is this: The more you know, the more competent you will become.

And the more competent you become, the greater your sense of self-esteem and confidence. This equals increased personal power -- the sure mark of an achiever on the road to prosperity.

BUT... many very successful people insist it's equally important to read and study totally outside your field. Read a comic book. Watch a garden program on TV. Go to a horse race. Challenge your mind to grow and expand. Bill Gates plays chess and bridge.

** Be Willing to Cut Your Losses

According to the American Management Association, at least 70% of the decisions we make regarding our lives and our businesses or professions will turn out to be wrong in the long run.

So how is it that some people still manage to end up so prosperous? The answer is simple. Those who rise to the top in life are willing to cut their losses if a decision proves wrong. They are willing to admit they made a mistake, and move onto a new path.

To rise to the top in your own life, develop the skill of looking dispassionately at your decisions.

If new information or results light proves your decision isn't working, be willing to abandon it and try something different.

There's no sense kicking a dead horse, after all. The horse won't get up and pull your cart, and you'll just bruise your toes!

** Your Most Valuable Asset

The greatest source of wealth you have is right there in your skull. And remember that modern neuroscience has now proven that our brains never cease to grow and change -- regardless of our age!

What you need to become truly prosperous is a flexible, active, creative brain -- and the courage to commit to your ideas.

Since there is virtually no limit on the knowledge you can acquire, and the creativity you can develop, why not just "go for it?"

What you have between your ears is far more valuable than your bank account. Money is always out there looking for ideas.

Your personal ability to build your brainpower, and unlock your creativity, is the true key to prosperity. Period!

Mind Power - Weight Loss - How Does Habits Influence Us, Being Over Weight?

Thinking positively does not happen by it self. It requires aware focused attention and we need to practice it, consciously, to habitually develop the ability to think positive. The ability to think and act positive and makes it possible to turn a negative situation into positive experiences, with bonus outcomes. We can unleash our newly discovered unlimited mind power to attract success, friends and anything we desire in life. The old habits are the negative habits, which, stall us, limits us and prohibits us, to go beyond ourselves to achieve a successful life.

Positive thinking alone will not change our lives. Re-organizing our minds and our way of life (habits) will provide us with a structure and to form a solid foundation on which to build a clear vision and outlook of the present (as is) and the future (should be) situation. We create our own happiness and our own drama. If you are not currently happy do something about it. We need to Change our habits to get a different outcome?

How do we change a Habit.

* Enhance your Self Esteem - through self acceptance - to be on your own side, to affirm yourself as a human being, to be committed to your own growth, your own value as a human being. (The thought process of the (as is) situation)

* Evaluate your Self Worth - Establish and evaluate your problem and face the real problem. (as is situation)

* Ensure and re-assure your self of what you want to achieve - Your choice and decision. (What is the should be situation)

* Take a stand and decide on an action plan - Consider the When, Where, Why, With Who (all the W's)

* Put your plan in action. - (Keep to the Rules)

* Evaluate whether it is working, if not, adjust. (See Reflection below)

* Reward your self when you have done well. (Keep to your Rules)

That's it - Go for It - put the habit in a bag with a cement brick and drown it. Take on a Weight Loss diet and kick the old habit of being over weight!

Reflection

Do an evaluation, alone at a quiet time. Reflection is a review of the events which happened in a day. Some went great, some bad. Have you done great today? What went well and went not so well? How can you improve? Re-commit to your goals? Have you reached your goal or still far from it? Or worst still, moving further away from your goals.

To your well being!

Mind Power - Mind Power - The Greatest Computer

The greatest mystery in all of creation is the human mind. The late President of the United States, John F. Kennedy described man's mind as "the most extra-ordinary computer of all". This evaluation is based on the complex nature and working mechanism of the mind. The brain which the mind uses is known by scientists to have over 10 billion neurons or nerve cells in the brain's cerebral cortex, intricately interwoven and installed in an orderliness that would baffle any electronics genius. The tiny brain of a child of four, for instance, is said to be more powerful than any computer designed by man. This is demonstrated in the child's ability to utilize common sense or in exercising judgment.

The brain's five basic functions of touch, taste, smell, hearing and seeing are normally taken for granted. But are you aware that beyond these five physical functions, there is an extra-ordinary quality associated with the brain? Dr J. B. Rhine, a famous American psychologist, successfully conducted experiments to prove that telepathy and intuitive inspiration are all part of our brainpower. It is this extra-ordinary quality of the brain and its link with the human mind that is discussed here. This quality confers on man the ability to create, and creation is man's so-called godly attribute. But how do you create? The answer is simple. You create through your mind using your thoughts.

Rest assured that you can use your mind to create anything you desire'the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the ugly'anything at all. That is the reason why you must learn to control your thoughts because of the irrepressible nature of the human mind. MIND POWER at work here.

Dr Steve Pink of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) had also made an interesting observation. Today's computers are acquiring more and more processing power, he asserted, but even the most powerful computer cannot compare with the brain of the little child mentioned earlier. This is indeed an astonishing phenomenon! No computer has been known either to re-write its programme or regenerate itself with the passage of time. A computer programme would be required to carry out any such needed adjustments using newly coded instructions or commands.

But with the brain, an organ through which the mind expresses itself, such adjustments are achieved automatically all through the individual's life. The brain regenerates itself. It can safely be stated without contradiction that the most advanced computers are primitive devices when compared to the human brain and mind. Have you considered the system that makes it possible for you to remember new names and new faces year in and year out? Can you imagine the size of the computer memory disk that would have made this possible'imponderable, you might say.

Brian Tracy in his fast selling book, "Maximum Achievement", has likened the human mind to the Central processing Unit (CPU) of a large computer network, which can be accessed, influenced and programmed by operators from several sources. Any new information or data whether true or false is taken in and alters operations in every other area.

The subconscious mind is the most critical region of the CPU of this network and your main task is to programme yourself so that what you think, feel and believe become the mental equivalent of exactly what you wish to experience and enjoy practically and physically. In other words, you must paint a clear bright picture of who and what you want to be in mind, so that this picture will be etched on your conscious from where it is transmitted on to the subconscious to be acted upon for concretization. All this in a nutshell describes the mechanism of the MIND POWER philosophy outlined in a very simple and readable form in the Success through Mind Power book.

Mind Power - The World's Illusion, Spiritual Awakening and Enlightenments

The world around us looks so real, and to proclaim that it is only an illusion may seem sheer nonsense. How can it be? Yet, it is possible to accept this idea. I believe you agree with me, if I say that the body is some sort of an extraordinary machine. It is made up of a combination of materials, but it functions as a unit. Can you say confidently that you are the body? Are you the hair that is cut and thrown away when you go to the hairdresser? Are you your fingers nails, nose, legs or thighs?

The body changes through the years, are you this changing form?

Can you say that you are a particular thought? Many thoughts pass through the mind each day. They are like a movie that passes in front of your eyes. Sometimes the movie is interesting, and sometimes it is boring. Sometimes it engenders happy feelings sometimes it causes the rise of sadness or anger. Do you remember a thought that you thought an hour ago? Yesterday? How can these thoughts be the real you? You think them, but you are not them.

The same thing goes for your feelings. It is not true to say, "I am angry", "I am sad", and "I am happy". It is truer to say, "I am letting now a feeling of anger, sadness or happiness to occupy my consciousness for a while". You, the basic you, stay the same, while feelings come and go. You are not your feelings, which change constantly.

Then who are you? The mind cannot describe what is beyond it, because it has not been there. It can understand mental descriptions, which only give it a clue of the reality beyond it. To know who you really are, you have to transform your awareness beyond the mind. You are beyond the physical body, feelings and thoughts. You are the eternal, impersonal consciousness that created and infused life into this conglomeration of body, feelings and thoughts that you call "me".

This homogenous, indivisible, complete Consciousness manifests in everything. It is the life principle of the manifestation that you consider to be yourself. The manifestation, which is the combination of body, thoughts and feelings, is nothing without this life principle. We can certainly say that the Consciousness is the only real thing, and every manifestation is just a creation, and therefore not permanent, eternal or real in the sense that it can exist by itself.

Can you become aware of this great Consciousness? Yes, of course. You are it. You are letting thoughts and feelings cloud it. If you constantly pay attention to the outside world, then it becomes very real for you. If you find a way to detach yourself from it, and turn your attention within, to the Consciousness beyond the mind, you can tear off the screen of illusion, and live consciously in this great Consciousness.

Silence of the mind is the prerequisite to awakening spiritually. Only when the mind is silenced and there are no thoughts, you realize who you really are - the vast, eternal Consciousness.

This is what has been called spiritual awakening or enlightenment. This is what yogis, saints and seekers on the spiritual path seek. It is here and now. All you have to do is change the way you view the world. You have to learn to dis-identify yourself with your body, feelings and thoughts, and develop true detachment. Through constant meditation the mind is made quiet. Then, from deep inside will raise a great silence, peace, life, consciousness and being. This is the real you. This is enlightenment.

The way to spiritual awakening is open for everyone. Only attachment and erroneous thoughts and concepts hide it. It can come suddenly, and it can come gradually. The funny thing is that you do not have to search for it, and you do not need to reach anywhere. All you have to do is dive within with a quiet mind, become aware of this inner, eternal underlying consciousness and stay there.

When you are spiritually awakened, your life will probably go on as before. You may teach and you may not. You may write about your experiences and you may not. You will still have to eat, sleep and take care of the physical life, though you know through your experience that everything is just an illusion.

If you view a movie with detachment, you may enjoy it, yet you will not be moved by what happens in it. You know it is just a movie, the projection of light and color on a screen. You see it, but it does not cause thoughts or feelings to arise. It is the same with the world. The world is not real. You, your real "I", live in an undifferentiated eternity, yet the body seems to continue to live in a created world.

When you are spiritually awakened nothing can influence you anymore. You are beyond life and death. You will still have to provide food, clothes and a house for the body, yet, whatever you do, you will do with inner detachment. You may go on acting intensively in the world, yet remaining uninvolved in consciousness, as if outside of the world.

The power of the mind creates your world - the illusion you are living in. Thoughts and imagination are creative, and they mold this illusion. As your thoughts are, so is your world. When you awaken to your Consciousness, your mind will be quiet, but it will be focused, and you will be able to use it more effectively.

When you awaken to your real Consciousness, and manage to stay in it more or less permanently, you may disregard the power of the mind, or you may use it to mold your illusion - your world, though by now you stop believing in its reality. As the "real world" continues to be seen, why not help yourself cope with the material necessities by using the creative power of the mind?

You can choose the images to be reflected on the screen of your world. The thoughts you focus on become your "reality". This is the secret of creative visualization. With your mind power you change the appearance of the illusion. What you do is just create a different illusion.

You may say that when you awaken spiritually, you will be beyond the world's illusion, and material things will not matter any more. This is true, but yet, the illusion has to be lived. You have to eat, pay bills and take care of the body. It is true, you will approach these matters in a completely different way, but you still need to take care of them. Even an enlightened master has to eat, drink and sleep.

Going beyond the mind, beyond the illusion of the world, and awakening spiritually, puts a great power and responsibility in your hands, for then you have the power to influence the world. Your awakened consciousness is an immnese power that can stimulate the spiritual awakening in others. As all Consciousness is one, calming down your mind, and becoming conscious of your Consciousness, influences the whole of Consciousness.

Mind Power - The Power of Reality

Dear Loved Ones,

Welcome to Spirituality Inside and Out. We honor your presence.

Great day to you all on this magnificent day to be alive. I love you. I love you. I love you. FOR WE ARE ALL ONE.

The Power of Reality

The Power of Reality in the most optimistic way possible is to be in reality with one's Being. How noble of us to blame our reality for the reality that really is! And how unkind of us to blame our reality based on our own conscious decisions.

The Power of Reality is really in our own consciousness once and for all as we choose to be aware of our own choices. The choices and decisions we make Now truly impact our lives on every level. Our decisions made in the Now create our reality Now and in the future. Wherever our future is!

The Power of Reality is in our own hands. And yes we have brought some unfinished business from our past lives in to the present to clear and to create freedom within. However our reality every moment is what we allow and create it to be. With all of our hardships, chaos, struggles and challenges we can in fact create realities in which we can accept our present life and move forward with acceptance.

Have you ever dealt with a situation where all of your energy was drawn out of you? This situation was so hectic in your mind that you did everything in your power to resist it and you found yourself ever so tired and exhausted.

Now on the other hand, have you ever experienced a situation where you were confronted with an issue and you chose to accept it right away? You chose to deal with it with calmness and stood tall as you were able to persevere through it with dignity and honor.

And what an honor it was to be able to deal and surpass this situation with acceptance. You created your reality as you chose to deal with it.

We create our realities by the way we listen to people. By the way we communicate with people. By the way we approach people. By the way we perceive people.

We create our realities by the way we deal with our circumstances. We create our realities by the way we interpret our challenges. We create our realities by the way we perceive our options.

We create our realities by the way we see ourselves in our minds eye. We create our realities by the way we think about ourselves. We create our realities by the way we feel about ourselves. We create our realities by the way we engage in life with life. We create our realities with our own Being.

If we smile more we create realities where we are smiled at. Whereas, when we frown we create realities where we are approached in such a way that is Not uplifting for both parties. As if we are here to draw attention to the unwanted instead of the wanted.

Let us start today by creating our realities by the True power within us. Let us Create from the Power of our Truth. Let us Create from the Power of our essence.

That is with the Power of our Faith in ourselves and our abilities to transform our lives inside and out. If truly a change, a healing and a transformation is your desire, Know that you are in no way a victim of life. You are in fact a Powerful Delightful Caring essence of the light of the Universe. And with this absolute truth all things are possible.

The time has come to simply let go and put behind the old way of thinking and start anew. A new beginning as you stand tall Right where you are physically and spiritually and make a declaration to your true self. A declaration such as you will start to create the realty in which you desire to live in and live by. And know that you shall prosper through your declaration. You shall take the appropriate actions to achieve your goals inside and out and you shall set an example for your reality.

For truly with your Power to create your reality all things are possible.

Use your mind power to create such a life that you shall simply be with awe with your abundant self. And you shall solely want to give of your True Self on to others as you will be filled and fulfilled with the light within you.

Go forth knowing that the Universe is in total support of you day and night. For you are truly lovely and insightful inside and out.

Bless you and so it is.

I love you. I love you. I love you.

Please feel free to share and forward these Insights with your family, friends, teachers, students, co-workers and enemies to support others in creating their reality with the Power within.

May the love and light of God and the Universe surround, protect and heal you, your loved ones and the planet earth.

Mind Power - Success Through Mind Power Philosophy

Adopting the philosophy of "Success Through Mind Power" can change your whole life for the better as it has done for numerous people who have adopted it before you. This motivational and inspirational philosophy is about you attaining success in any of life's endeavours through the use of mind power, a philosophy that has engaged the author for thirty years. Now what exactly is MIND POWER?

The philosophy behind the use of MIND POWER for general success is based on the claim by the experts in this field namely, doctors, psychologists and psychiatrists among others, that we humans use only about 10 per cent of our mental faculties. This conclusion was based on separate or independent scientific studies they carried out over some years. You probably have heard about this dismal conclusion before now. Come to think of it, a mere 10 per cent? The implication of this is that whatever your achievements in life might be, you are currently using no more than 10 percent of your mental ability.

These same experts made an exception for the so called geniuses or individuals with outstanding abilities. These geniuses are said to be able to use up to 20 percent, but certainly not more! The question then is what happens to the 80 to 90 percent of the human mind? We are told that it is dormant, idle, unused or untapped. This is indeed a colossal waste! This dormant 80 to 90 per cent of the mental faculty can however be put to full use, though only gradually. This can be achieved through simple daily exercises developed over many years by different experts in the field of psychology. Through this gradual process, you can now begin to use your mind to change undesired conditions in your life at will. Conversely, you will only attract those conditions or results that you desire. In short you can become what you think about, as they say.

The explanation for such a phenomenal occurrence lies in the infinite power of the human mind. Most people either underestimate or are ignorant of the immense power of the mind. The human mind is so powerful that some people have been known to bend metal by sheer thought concentration. You might have heard about the American TV entertainer, Yuri Geller. In addition to bending straight metal, Geller was reported to have mended the wrist watches of all the viewers watching his programme. Takwaendo experts use their bare fists to break solid piles of wood and concrete cement blocks. This too is the result of mental conditioning and practice. It only stands to reason that if hard metal, wood and cement can bow to thought or MIND POWER, ordinary human conditions no matter how tough, can also bow. So why don't you use the greatest weapon given to man, your mind. How do go you about this? The MIND POWER philosophy described in great detail in the book "Success through Mind Power" will show you step by step how to accomplish this in a most simplified manner.

Mind Power - Positive Thought

Man is always attracted towards everything that is metaphysical and psychological; leading psychologists have always believed in the matter of mind, which is capable of performing stupendous things for self growth and development. On the flip side, they are also worried by a mind that is out of control, with many manifestations of disease and illness as the final result. It is always believed that human beings could achieve anything and everything under the Sun, provided they possess a mind that is tough and intelligent. As a corollary, they also believed that people who have achieved a high degree of personal success, always showed an elevated level of positive thoughts and beliefs. Positive thoughts are known to assist a person in achieving those goals and targets, which can not be achieved by a person with a negative mindset.

Understanding positive thought requires considerable amount of intelligence and wisdom. Positive thoughts are so surreal and mysterious; man has always been baffled by the fact that some people are more endowed with a high level of self belief and positive thoughts, while many people lack this natural gift, due to unknown reasons. Positive thoughts seem to originate from the mind, and its flow is always controlled by the person. Though most of us have positive thoughts deep in our mind, we may never experience it in its full potential or may experience only during some time in our life. Is it possible to control the flow of positive thoughts at a uniform rate?

It is possible to develop positive thoughts and feelings by adjusting the way in which we think and behave. There are several innovative methods prescribed by many leading experts and often these methods do help us in developing a positive "us". However the basic methodology is almost similar in all techniques. If you want to develop a positive personality, you will also need to consider driving away all negative thoughts; it is probably like two opposite faces of a coin. Positive and negative minds are dual in nature. When one of them shows its dominance, other will be in its dormancy. This perceptible shift in alternating domination and dormancy state of mind is the ultimate factor that makes us either positive in nature or negative in behavior.

Is it possible to retain positive thoughts as our dominating entity in our mind? Conversely, can we suppress the negative part of our personality by using some methods? Theoretically both are distinct possibilities, provided we have some genuine methods to follow. Though it is almost impossible to drive away our negative aspect of personality, it is also possible to mask such negative part of the personality with fresh, continuous positive thoughts. It is just like filling in fresh, crystal clear water slowly, inch by inch, to replace a mass of water that is dirty and stained. Another analogy is to fill in a glass of water with crystal clear water and add black ink, so that the whole glass of water becomes dark and negative. Now when you add fresh water slowly, drop by drop, and replace the whole glass full of dark water, the resulting water mass is all crystal clear and pure. Our mind actually works in a similar manner.

Mind Power - Subconscious Mind Power - 3 Vital Steps to Unleash It!

The subconscious mind is a seat of magnificent power. With it, you can literally get anything you want. However, only a few people are maximizing its unlimited potentials.

Three necessary and unusual steps must be taken to unleash your hidden subconscious mind power.

First, you must engulf yourself with the pictures, visual representations, or symbols of the things related to the things you want to accomplish. You may also surround yourself with objects that produce sounds that remind you of your goals.

When you surround yourself with positive images or sounds, your subconscious mind will imprint those images or record those sounds in your head. You will be reminded of your goals often. The result will be a focused mind capable of blocking out distractions and manifesting your thoughts into reality.

Second, you must ask yourself the right positive and success-driven questions all the time. Too often, we ask questions like:

"Why am I always failing to achieve my goals in life?"

"How come I am stuck in this dead-end job, without any hope for career advancement?"

"Why can't I have the same amount of creativity and intelligence as he is?"

"How can such unfortunate events be happening to me?"

"Why am I always running out of luck?"

Yikes! What stupid questions to ask yourself! Everyday, people keep on asking themselves endless negative questions. These people subject their minds to negative subconscious programming that impede their personality development and force them downward to the spiral of failure.

Their subconscious mind will always try to respond to such pessimistic questions, resulting in massive mental and emotional self-destruction.

The subconscious will come up with reasons, justifications, persuasion tactics, and various explanations to convince them that they are goal setting failures, that they don't deserve a great career, that they can't be as lucky, creative, good looking, or rich as other people, even if all of these negative circumstances are untrue! They are only attracting negativity and failure to manifest in their reality.

Now my question to you is: Are you one of them? If yes, change your attitude and bad habits now! Most of all, ask questions that demand positive, success-driven answers.

When you ask a good question to the powerful subconscious, you will get a good answer! In fact, not only will you get a good answer; your subconscious may actually come up with an almost magical response/solution that may surprise you!

Ask your subconscious questions such as:

"What shall I read to improve my memory?"
"How can I overcome my shyness and enhance my relationships?"
"How can I have a strong and healthy body?"
"What can I do to earn $7,000 next month?"
"What must I do to get that promotion?"

Third, know your purpose. When you have a sufficient strong and intense purpose to accomplish your goals, your subconscious will always find a way to help you achieve them. This is power motivation at work!

If you're just satisfied with whatever life throws at you, not knowing the rationale behind what you're doing, then you'll have a much difficult time reaching your dreams.

And this is where the power of purpose comes to work. If you have a highly emotional purpose behind your actions, you will be more prompted to take inspired action and do whatever it takes to reach your destination.

Always ask yourself, "Why am I doing this?"

It's either you have/find a satisfactory answer or change your agenda!

When I ask myself why I am determined to finish a project, I immediately have an answer, which may consist of any of the following:

1) I want to improve the lives of as many people as I can.
2) I want to go on a vacation to a specific country (using money earned from the project).
3) I want to donate to charity.
4) I love the feeling of being able to conquer any challenge and accomplish something worthwhile.

Now it's my turn to ask you. What's your purpose?

Mind Power - Take Your Mind for a Walk

Some of the great Masters and Teachers that I study all say, in one way or another, that our mind is here for us to use, not for our mind to use us.

But how does one notice when their mind is running away? One powerful way is to take an inventory of the way you talk to yourself. What are those voices saying? Are they positive? Are they negative? What is the conversation that you are having with yourself on a daily basis?

Paying attention to this can be a life-enriching, lifelong study if you choose it and you will quickly find that by just taking this one step toward paying attention to your mind can also be your first step to leading a happy life.

Become Aware:

This year I left my "safe" job of 10 years with an IT consulting company and embarked on the seas of coaching full-time.

I know, although I've been coaching since 2001, that it will take time for all of my efforts of "getting the word out" about what I am doing now. This is fertile ground for a reckless mind such as mine, to just pull out all the stops of negative thoughts, of doom and gloom and of past failures.

What I do as soon as I become aware of these negative voices and thoughts, is to simply say, "STOP" and re-direct my thinking to what is the next right action for me to take toward creating and having a successful business.

In other words, I've put my mind on a leash. It's a very nice leash, but it is saying to my mind, "You've had your run with my life, now let's see what happens when we train you to think thoughts that can be helpful for me instead of hurtful".

Meditate on Your Mind-Power

Another powerful tool I use to become hyper-aware of my thoughts is to meditate for 30 minutes each day. To give myself quiet time for me to slow down and "listen" to what The Great Intelligence has to say to me.

The key is to not be discouraged if you sit down to meditate and your mind is throwing out every thought in the book that can trigger every powerful feeling you have inside of you. Stay patient and know that the mind is behaving like a child where a boundary has been set.

There are many excellent methods of meditation and books out there galore on it. Find the one that "speaks" best for you. For instance, many traditional churches have embraced the idea of a Centering Prayer. A book that I found helpful on meditation is by Jack Kornfield entitled, "A Path With Heart".

The most important thing is for you to give yourself the gift of time for you to be quiet and recoup. I've found the morning time, before I begin my day the most helpful because the quiet, thoughtful stillness enables me to pro-actively set the tone for the day.

Just realize that you do not have to be at the whim and mercy of your negative thinking anymore. You can learn how to "obedience train" your mind in the same way you would work out your muscles so that you can participate in a healthy sport, or just simply to actively run or swim. The mind is no different; it just wants us to think that it is!

For the next week, try the following:

1.) Set aside 30 minutes a day to meditate or just sit still;

2.) Notice the thoughts running through your head; write them down if you want

3.) When you notice a negative voice or thought, say "Stop" and re-direct your thinking to something positive. Google on "positive thoughts" or affirmations if you have none, find some and when you notice the negative thought, read your affirmation.

4.) Think of your mind as a muscle that you are just starting to work out after a very long time of not working it out. So give it time to get in shape. Be kind to yourself. Allow yourself room to grow.

So come on and take your Mind for a walk and give it some fresh air!

Mind Power - Three Great Mind Power Practices

Your mind power is not your IQ. It is not the innate potential of your mind, but the actual and habitual use and development of that potential. In other words, it isn't how smart you are that counts, but how you use it. Here are three things you can do to make your mind more effective.

Brain Exercises

Regular use and "exercising" of the brain has been shown to generate new neuronal growth, and even halt the decline of mental function that often comes with age. Try numerous brain exercises, and when you find the ones that you enjoy, make doing them a habit. A study will someday prove that old people who do their crossword puzzle every Sunday morning maintain their mental function longer. Some other ways to increase that mind power:

- Do mental math while driving.

- Look around at things and redesign them in your mind.

- Sing a song, inventing the lyrics as you go.

- Learn a memory technique and use it daily.

Discipline Yourself

A recent study, reported in the journal Psychological Science, found that while IQ level did correlate with academic performance, there was actually a much stronger correlation with self discipline. Those students with high self-discipline have much better grades than high-IQ students. They also found that there was no correlation between IQ and discipline (they varied independently).

Again, this shows that it isn't how smart you are, but how you use it. Self discipline doesn't necessarily mean willpower, by the way. It can be accomplished by starting with simple and easy steps and creating good habits over time. A great mind power practice is to get in the habit of regularly building good habits.

Train Your Body

It has been shown that activities which involve timing and coordination cause dendrite growth in the brain. More dendrites mean more possible connections in your brain. More connections mean your thinking and learning can be more flexible and efficient. Physical exercise, then, of the right type, is also mind power exercise.

The activities most likely to help include any athletic activities that require a lot of coordination and timing, such as basketball, soccer, and tossing around a frisbee. Other good mind power activities are playing musical instruments, especially when it requires precise timing (piano playing), and painting or drawing, which involve hand-eye coordination.
